Canoeing and river kayaking in this park, Cycling, Fishing, Horseback Riding, Pets, Hiking, Swimming. The park is a popular destination for locals, who head here to picnic on the riverbank and swim in the swimming holes on the Chemainus river.
Located on the Chemainus River, approximately 3 km northwest of Duncan on southern Vancouver Island.
Park Size: 119 hectares
The remnants of an old railway grade in the park is also of historic importance.

Features trails, picnic area, nature walk.
Park Size: 10.3 ha (25.45 ac)
Parking is just off Thicke Road.
Amenities: Picnic area, trails, parking, and toilet facilities.

Saltair is within easy reach of Nanaimo's ferry terminals at Duke Point and Departure Bay.
The Schwartz Bay ferry terminal via Victoria is only 90 minutes south of Ladysmith.
